The new work permit law in the UAE has made life difficult for foreign workers

It's getting tough for foreign domestic workers in the UAE now, as fines are going to be imposed for not having a work permit.
According to the details, the UAE government has tightened the rules regarding foreign employees and raised the alarm for employees working without work permits.

According to Khaleej Times, the work permits issued for foreign workers and domestic workers cannot be used for any other permit.

While those who do not cancel the work permit on time, including those who take up residence after the visa period, fines may also be imposed.
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, the minimum fine of 50,000 dirhams, which is more than 3.7 lakh Pakistani rupees, will be imposed on those who hire domestic workers without Emirati residence visa and work permit, while the maximum A fine of 2 lakh dirhams, which amounts to more than 1 crore Pakistani rupees, will be imposed.

On the other hand, if the resident now wants to return the service of the employees, and want to fire them, he will have to cancel the work permit, for which he can submit an application on the MOHRE website.
On the other hand, there is also a fee for canceling the work permit, as a fee for this whole process, the resident will have to pay 85.75 dirhams, which is about 7 thousand Pakistani rupees.
