Prime Minister’s invitation to Tajik President for trade at Karachi port

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Tajik President Qahir Rasulzada to trade at Karachi port and said that regional links can be further promoted through rail and roads.
Pakistan will provide trade corridors to Central Asian countries, Pakistan will soon host Regional Connectivity Summit to promote regional trade, Pakistan is following its Vision Central Asia policy. Relations with Central Asian countries including Tajikistan will be increased.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Tajik President Qahir Rasulzada, expressed satisfaction over the development of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and invited trade at Karachi port.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif reiterated the common desire to further strengthen the existing brotherly relations and congratulated the Tajik counterpart on the successful holding of the Abi Conference.

During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif praised the leadership role of Tajikistan in the field of water diplomacy and said that the strategic partnership agreement between the two countries is a historical milestone in the relations, the elevation of relations will lead to cooperation in economic sectors.
