The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ruled to remove the names of Pervez Elahi, Zara Elahi, and Rasakh Elahi from the Exit Control List (ECL), citing the federal government’s unlawful inclusion of their names. Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza issued the verdict, stating that Pervez Elahi, the President of PTI, and Zahra Elahi were erroneously placed on the ECL.
Previously, Pervez Elahi was granted bail in a case related to alleged illegal recruitments and subsequently released from Kot Lakhpat jail.
