Responding to a tweet on X, formerly Twitter, filmmaker Siddharth Anand confirmed that Hrithik Roshan will be reprising his role as Krrish, as reported by an Indian media outlet.
After a social media page shared a poster of the actor in his Krrish costume and captioned it with “He’s coming,” Siddharth Anand responded with a simple “Yep, he is.”
Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan, along with his father Rakesh Roshan, is currently in the process of finalizing the concept for Krrish 4. While Hrithik is currently occupied with shooting War 2, he will also be involved in providing insights for Krrish 4, which is said to be in advanced stages of development, according to a source.
The source mentioned, “Hrithik has scheduled brainstorming sessions throughout the summer. Both Rakesh and he want to deliver a story that will exceed expectations.”
As per reports, the filmmakers aim to finalize the basic idea for Krrish 4 this year and commence shooting in 2025.
Earlier, Rakesh Roshan had expressed his commitment to perfecting the script before proceeding with Krrish 4. “We have the script ready, but we keep on improvising. I still feel there is some scope for improvement. We can’t make films on budgets as high as Hollywood, and hence, our content has to be strong and new in this world of superheroes,” he stated.
The superhero saga began with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003, followed by Krrish in 2006 and Krrish 3 in 2013.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is currently busy filming War 2, a sequel to the 2019 action film War, under the direction of Ayan Mukerji. War was the third film of YRF’s ambitious spy universe, with Siddharth Anand at the helm, known for his work on ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Fighter’.
